When sisters Mhairi and Caoimhe run away from home, Mhairi is determined to stay isolated from the world. It’s safer for her that way, and if it’s safer for her then it’s safer for them both. But in her struggle to keep her sister close, and other people out, Mhairi makes a deadly choice and risks losing Caoimhe forever. As the sisters become more entangled with the wild Scottish landscape, Mhairi’s secrets are revealed and her grasp on her sister – and reality – begins to slip. I See My Sister explores folklore, trauma and sisterhood.
