Jane Japes Dead Inside

Comedy

18+

Does cancer change you? Jane was adamant her diagnosis wasn’t going to change her. Jane was an idiot. Part stand-up, part autobiographical theatre, Dead Inside is a rollercoaster ride through the hilarious topics of cancer, suicide and the price of pretty panties. Guaranteed to be less terrifying than that sounds, this is one woman’s reaction to an onslaught of breast cancer treatments – the things that made her laugh, cry, or say what the actual duck-billed platypus?

Jane discovered that she was shockingly ignorant about cancer, even though half of us will have it at some point. During Dead Inside she shares what she learnt, what was helpful, horrible and downright bizarre – as well as how we can all be better, in every way.

Jane Japes uses autobiographical story-telling and stand-up to infuse serious subjects with heart and humour.
