Liminality is the debut play from MomaMomus. The two protagonists, Anaxandra and Leo, find themselves on the shore of the river Styx. The play follows their bizarre attempts at crossing the river and the unlikely friendship that springs from it. Inspired by Theatre of the Absurd, the play occupies its time with discussions emphasised text about life, existence, history and a myriad of other ludicrous affairs.

The play takes its influence heavily from Ancient Greek mythology whilst also tackling the subject of grief and its illogical nature. It is a tragi-comedy that highlights the fragility of life, the uncertainty of what comes next and the importance of friendship... and why you should always be careful near rivers.
