A venue since 2002 theSpaces on the Mile boasts the festivals most central location. Situated right at the heart of the festival on the Royal Mile, yards from the outdoor performance stages where thousands of theatre-goers gather daily.

The venue has become known for its constant flow of awards, ‘Territory’ (Fiddy West Productions) winning both the (NSDF) National Student Drama emerging artiste awards for both best show and best ensemble and ‘Bare’ and ‘Crocosmia’(Little Bulb Theatre) winning the prestigious Fringe First Award

Theatre Plan & Technical Details:

Space One is arranged as a 55-seat black box theatre with a thrust stage. Although it is best suited to traditional theatre, comedy and the like, it is a very flexible space and you can perform most styles of show there.

Space Two is an intimate 55-seat space suited to theatre as well as all forms of small scale performance art including improv, sketch, monolouges, comedy etc.
