theSpace on the Mile (V39)
A venue since 2002 theSpaces on the Mile boasts the festivals most central location. Situated right at the heart of the festival on the Royal Mile, yards from the outdoor performance stages where thousands of theatre-goers gather daily, the venue offers performing companies immediate access to a ready made audience seconds from their performance space.

theSpace @ Symposium Hall (V43)
Another high calibre venue. This wonderful space in a converted church located between the Pleasance and Bristo Square and right next door to theSpace @ Surgeons Hall. It offers a fantastic custom built 158 seat amphitheatre. Sell out shows in 2011 and 2012 included 'Dr Phil Hammond', 'All the Kings Men', Oxford Alternotives, Somewhere Under the Rainbow and Eric Davidson.

SpaceCabaret @ 54 (V54)
Located on the Royal Mile and programming from midday til late we present a fantastic central space for quality art and stylish performance. Offering a fully licensed bar with a capacity of 80 (seated) and 120 (seated and standing) the venue specialises in showcasing musical acts, cabaret and comedy.

theSpace @ Niddry St (V9)
theSpace @ Niddry was again exceptionally well received in 2012. Following on from previous 'Fringe First' (Bare 2011) successes the venue hosted several sell out and award winning shows including Blues! (Spirit of the Fringe Award) 4.48 Psychosis (4 stars Scotsman) and Elephant Man (Fourth Monkey). We encourage companies wanting to perform in this venue to apply early for this exceptionally popular theatre.

theSpace @ Jurys (V260)
theSpace @ Jurys has been a fringe venue since 2002 and is located in an ideal central position (seconds from the Royal Mile), 500yds from Waverley Station and right next door to theSpace @ Venue 45 - one of the festivals most established venues.

theSpace @ Surgeons Hall (V53)
For 2013 we are again proud to present one of the fringe's most diverse and successful performance programmes. In 2012 the venue hosted some 80 shows, many receiving 4 or 5 star reviews, the bustling courtyard bar became well known for its festival buzz and the venue hosted some 40000 theatre goers during the three week festival.

theSpace on North Bridge (V36)
Launched in 2011, the spaces have become well known for high calibre performance and have enjoyed an array of highly acclaimed reviews and awards including best of the festival for 'Picture House' 2012. The unrivalled location where the Royal Mile meets North Bridge compliments our Royal Mile theatres across the road and make this a wonderful festival hub right in the middle of it all.

theSpace @ Venue 45
The Space @ Venue 45 has been managed by the Space team since 1995 and in that time it has developed into a central venue for professional, and amateur theatre of originality and excellence from across the globe. This 90 seat thrust space has an ambience all of it's own and that twinned with a 50 year pedigree as a fringe venue means many shows return to perform here year on year.
