The Showhawk Duo are an all-guitar acoustic blend of a classical connoisseur with a hard rock specialist, entertaining you with songs from their eclectic back catalogue. Spanning a stylistic spectrum – 70s pop hits, gypsy jazz, operatic overtures – they truly defy classification. Mikhail Asanovic is a classically trained guitarist, having recently graduated from the RNCM. This classical foundation shines through in their set with embellished melodies soaring over the energetic rhythm parts. This classical style compliments the furious rhythms in Jake Wright’s playing to create one unified sound, breathing new life into a range of pieces.
