Text-based Physical Theatre with Storytelling and Live Music
Whatever happened to the children that ‘The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe’ beat black and blue? This new play by award-winning playwright Lee Gershuny picks up the action 20 years after the nursery rhyme ends, with the now grown-up children hungry for revenge. But before they can wreak havoc on the Old Woman, a mysterious waiter turns the tables on them with storytelling, music and a cauldron of tricks. This humorously surreal fable promises plenty of surprises for everyone from 9 to 90+! (www.the-elements.org.uk)
