Medicine is marvellous! It fights disease, makes us feel better and makes us live longer, but how does medicine actually work? The debut show from award-winning science communicator Alistair Linsell featuring audience participation, Mexican waves, baseball bats, and dinosaurs! Alistair came second in the 2009 science communication competition FameLab and has run demonstrations at Durham Science Festival, Newcastle Makers Faire and Cheltenham Science festival. He has pitched at Sheffield documentary festival and presented science on Channel 4. In 2010, he travelled to ‘the lost world’ in Venezuela to film a documentary on the rare wildlife found there.
