Insights

‘Insights’ is a choreographic platform, which supports graduates as they embark on their journey into the professional dance world. Jai Hutchison created ‘Insights’ in 2010, with an aim of providing performance opportunities for recent graduates within dance, choreography, and physical Theatre. This year we present 5 new exciting works from emerging choreographers, and we invite you, the audience, to join us as we offer you an insight into the minds and imaginations of these talented dance artists. Insights is based in Dundee, however works with choreographers from all around the globe. The first Insights platform was held at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2010 at theSpaceUK’s Venue 45. Due to its success, Insights continued in 2011 with two platforms being held in the U.K; again at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, at theSpace UK’s V9, and also at RADA in London, as a part of the Camden Fringe. On the performance schedule this summer for Insights is Edinburgh, London and Newcastle. ‘Insights’ is run by project manager Jai Hutchison, and assistant project manager Rachel Lane.
