A sickly young woman, nicknamed Lemon, sits alone in her room all day, drinks juices and recalls incidents and people- not from her own past, but mainly that of a one-time family friend, nicknamed ‘Aunt Dan’. Her political views and along with Lemon’s own upbringing have lead her to find consolation in books about Nazi atrocities. The production tries to find as much humour as possible in such a difficult piece. It also boasts a mesmerising performance by Lisa Younger as ‘Lemon’. Not recommended for children, people with short attention spans and fans of Henry Kissinger.
