work. Theatre present the world premiere of ‘Anna.’ – the chilling debut by playwright Tom Ratcliffe at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
It is modern day in a dingy city flat with three inhabitants: a young man and two young women, one of whom is missing: this is Anna. Outside, the city has seen two young prostitutes killed in the past week. Set within a twenty-four hour time frame, the action cuts back and forth from the evening to the daytime gradually revealing the truth behind the girl’s disappearance and the secrets she has been keeping from her flatmates. Anna. presents the climax of a love triangle heading towards a disastrous consequence.

work.Theatre: we are a new company set up by three young artists for the purposes of producing new work and will be premiering ‘Anna.’ at this years’ Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The play’s writer, Tom Ratcliffe, who is making his literary debut, is also an actor in our company which is completed by fellow actor Gabriella Moran and actor/dancer Jennifer Todd.
