Sparkleshark

Sparkleshark by Philip Ridley is an adventure-laden show wherein teens battle monsters and rescue princesses. The everyday becomes magical at Jake's once -lonely tower block rooftop retreat as Polly encourages him to share his writing abilities with his peers. However, will the local bullies put an end to Jake's budding talent? Or do the teens have enough imagination to change their attitudes while they transform their unadorned play-space? Highly interactive, come and witness the power of storytelling! First premiered at the Royal National Theatre in 1997, 'Sparkleshark' also won first prize at BT National Connections.
