One Summer
On the frontline in Afghanistan and the cardiology ward of Basildon Hospital, two inseparable friends confront their own mortality. Expect laughter, tears and a supercharged dose of happiness from this inspirational true-life story. A former soldier and his high-living best buddy narrate this touching account of an epic summer in their lives: one fighting in Afghanistan, the other undergoing major heart surgery at the age of 36. Unashamedly personal, 'One Summer' takes a sideways look at human survival through the eyes of two close friends; a journey that leads them to discover the secret formula for contentment.
